Mold Facts

Mold is all around us and under normal circumstances it does not pose a threat to most people. It becomes a problem when it is given opportunities to grow to dangerous levels.

Mold is a Symptom

Mold doesn't usually grow to problematic levels unless there is excessive moisture present. When moisture is left for too long it will promote rampant microbial growth.

Do Not Use a Fan

Many people attempt to dry moist areas with a fan. Without propert containment and dehumidification a fan doesn't do much beyond spread mold spores and encourage accelerated growth.

Mold is Resilient

Mold can grow on virtually any surface so long as water, oxygen, and organic material are present. It's virtually impossible to keep mold spores out of your home,  but it is possible to limit the ability of those spores to grow.
